    How does the motive of individual achievement affect organizational commitment?

    Bu araştırmanın amacı, çalışanların bireysel başarı güdüsü ve organizasyonel bağlılıkları arasındaki ilişkinin ölçülmesidir. Bu amaçla faktörler arasındaki ilişkileri test edebilmek için oluşturulan anket modeli, kamu sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 412 adet çalışan (teknik personel/ yönetici) üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada ele alınan faktörler; başarı güdüsü ile ilgili olarak başarıya inanma, farklı olma, odaklanma ve bireysel sorumluluk alma, organizasyonel bağlılık ile ilgili olarak ise duygusal bağlılık, devamlılık bağlılığı ve normatif bağlılıktır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; duygusal bağlılık ile başarıya inanma ve farklı olma değişkenleri arasında pozitif yönde, bireysel sorumluluk alma değişkeni arasında ise negatif yönde bir ilişki olduğu görülmektedir. Devamlılık (zorunluluk) bağlılığı ve normatif (ahlaki) bağlılık değişkenleri ile sadece bireysel sorumluluk alma değişkeni arasında pozitif bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Organizasyonel bağlılık değişkenlerinin, odaklanma değişkeni ile aralarında herhangi bir ilişkinin olmadığı dikkati çekmektedir.The purpose of the research is to determine the relationship between individual achievement motive and organizational commitment of employees. With this purpose, to be able to test the relationships between the factors data collected from 412 employees (technical / management staff) working in different public organizations. The factors which have been studied in the research are; about achievement motive (confidence in success, competitiveness - status orientation, focus on work, in charge of individual task) and organizational commitment (affective commitment, continuance or calculative commitment and normative commitment). According to the analysis results; the factors which affect positively to personnel's perception of affective commitment are; confidence in success and being different. The factor which affects negatively to personnel's perception of affective commitment is in charge of individual task. The factor which affect positively to personnel's perception of continuance commitment and normative commitment is in charge of individual task. The results of this research show that there isn't any relationship between factor of focus on work and all organizational commitment factors

    In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of substitution of barley with the different amounts of dried white mulberry pomace (DWMP) and dried red mulberry pomace (DRMP) on in vitro true digestibility (IVTD) values. The mixtures were formed as: barley (100%), DWMP (100%), DRMP (100%), barley+DWMP (75%+25%), barley+DWMP (50%+50%), barley+DWMP (25%+75%), barley+DRMP (75%+25%), barley+DRMP (50%+50%), barley+DRMP (25%+75%). There were no differences for IVTD, in vitro true dry matter digestibility (IVTDMD), and in vitro true organic matter digestibility (IVTOMD) values between barley and barley+DWMP (75%+25%). Although, IVTD, IVTDMD, and IVTOMD values of barley+DWMP (75%+25%) and barley+DWMP (50%+50%) were similar, the same digestibility values of the mixture containing barley+DWMP (50%+50%) were lower (P<0.05) than those of barley. While substitution of barley with DWMP increased (R2=0.7754) in vitro true neutral detergent fiber digestibility (IVTNDFD), substitution of barley with DRMP did not change IVTNDFD. In conclusion, due to nutrient composition and digestibility of DWMP, barley may be substituted with DWMP up to 50% in diets of livestock raised for meat or milk production. Further studies are needed to determine the effects of barley substitution with DWMP on in vivo digestibility, rumen fermentation, fattening performance or milk production.Bu çalışmada, arpanın, kurutulmuş beyaz dut posası (KBDP) ve kurutulmuş kırmızı dut posası (KKDP) ile farklı düzeylerde ikamesinin in vitro gerçek sindirilebilirlik (IVGS) değerleri üzerine etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Karışımlar şu şekilde oluşturuldu: arpa (%100), KBDP (%100), KKDP (%100), arpa+KBDP (%75+%25), arpa+KBDP (%50+%50), arpa+KBDP (%25+%75), arpa+KKDP (%75+%25), arpa+KKDP (%50+%50), arpa+KKDP (%25+%75). Arpa ve arpa+KBDP (%75+%25) arasında IVGS, in vitro gerçek kuru madde sindirilebilirlik (IVGKMS) ve in vitro gerçek organik madde sindirilebilirlik (IVGOMS) değerleri açısından bir farklılık yoktu. Arpa+KBDP (%75+%25) ve arpa+KBDP (%50+%50)’ya ait IVGS, IVGKMS ve IVGOMS değerleri benzer olmasına karşın, arpa+KBDP (%50+%50) içeren karışımın aynı sindirilebilirlik değerleri arpaya göre daha düşük (P<0,05) bulundu. Bununla beraber, arpanın %25 düzeyinde KKDP ile ikamesine ilişkin IVGS değerleri arpanınkilerden daha düşüktü (P<0,05). Arpanın KBDP ile ikamesi in vitro gerçek nötral deterjan fiber sindirilebilirlik (IVGNDFS) değerini arttırırken (R2=0,7754), arpanın KKDP ile ikamesi IVGNDFS değerini etkilememiştir. Sonuç olarak, KBDP'nin besin madde bileşimi ve sindirilebilirlik değeri nedeniyle, arpa, et veya süt hayvanlarının rasyonlarında %50'ye kadar KBDP ile ikame edilebilir. Arpanın KBDP ile ikamesinin in vivo sindirilebilirlik, rumen fermentasyonu, besi performansı veya süt verimi üzerine etkilerini belirlemek için çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır

    Robust threshold schemes based on the Chinese remainder theorem

    Recently, Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT) based function sharing schemes are proposed in the literature. In this paper, we investigate how a CRT-based threshold scheme can be enhanced with the robustness property.     A verifiable secret sharing scheme based on the chinese remainder theorem

    In this paper, we investigate how to achieve verifiable secret sharing (VSS) schemes by using the Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT). We first show that two schemes proposed earlier are not secure by an attack where the dealer is able to distribute inconsistent shares to the users. Then we propose a new VSS scheme based on the CRT and prove its security. Using the proposed VSS scheme, we develop a joint random secret sharing (JRSS) protocol, which, to the best of our knowledge, is the first JRSS protocol based on the CRT. © 2008 Springer Berlin Heidelberg

    The Use of Drones in Agricultural Production

    The drones called as mainly unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been commonly used recently in agricultural production in all part of the world because of reducing costs of hardware and the software technology as well as tremendous progresses. Moreover, UAVs gave opportunities such as reaching much faster and efficient in emergency situations, allowing access to places which humans cant reach etc. Therefore, UAVs are used in many part of our life not only for agriculture both also traffic surveillance, military operations, disaster management, border-patrolling, aerial image georeferencing, courier services, firefighting as well as monitoring of wildlife, nature, sky life etc. In the agriculture, the UAVs are used mostly for monitoring the crop production using spectral imaging on each period of time in order to identify the problems on the field such as water shortage and diseases, tracking animals using cameras and herding them with creating sounds produced by the UAVs, spraying to the field with pesticide, fungicide and water by equipping spraying kit on a UAV, generating the strong winds by the propellers of the UAV increasing pollination in the hybrid plant production as well as separating the small harmful bugs from the plants etc. The UAVs contribute a lot more to the agricultural sector, if the right implementations and researches are done. However, using new implemented lightweight materials to increase the endurance of the UAV, developing new type of lenses and sensors which can identify other diseases on plants or animals which cant be seen by the current equipment and equipping a granule spreader on a UAV so that it can distribute the seeds on the field much faster than a tractor

    The purpose of the research is to determine the relationship between individual achievement motive and organizational commitment of employees.     In this paper, we investigate how to achieve verifiable secret sharing (VSS) schemes by using the Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT). We first show that two schemes proposed earlier are not secure from an attack where the dealer is able to distribute inconsistent shares to the users. Then we propose a new VSS scheme based on the CRT and prove its security. Using the proposed VSS scheme, we develop joint random secret sharing~(JRSS) and proactive SSS protocols, which, to the best of our knowledge, are the first secure protocols of their kind based on the CRT

    Sharing DSS by the Chinese Remainder Theorem

    In this paper, we propose a new threshold scheme for the Digital Signature Standard (DSS) using Asmuth-Bloom secret sharing based on the Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT). To achieve the desired result, we first show how to realize certain other threshold primitives using Asmuth-Bloom secret sharing, such as joint random secret sharing, joint exponential random secret sharing, and joint exponential inverse random secret sharing. We prove the security of our scheme against a static adversary. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first provably secure threshold DSS scheme based on the CRT

    Generalized ID-based ElGamal signatures

    ID-based cryptography has been a very active area of research in cryptography since bilinear pairings were introduced as a cryptographic tool, and there have been many proposals for ID-based signatures recently. In this paper, we introduce the concept of generalized ID-based ElGamal signatures and show that most of the proposed ID-based signature schemes in the literature are special instances of this generalized scheme. We also obtain numerous new signatures from this generalized scheme which have not been proposed before. ©2007 IEEE

    Threshold broadcast encryption with reduced complexity

    Threshold Broadcast Encryption (TBE) is a promising extension of threshold cryptography with its advantages over traditional threshold cryptosystems, such as eliminating the need of a trusted party, the ability of setting up the system by individual users independently and the ability of choosing the threshold parameter and the group of privileged receivers at the time of encryption. An ElGamal-based solution for TBE was proposed by Ghodosi et al. In this paper, we propose an improved ElGamal-based TBE scheme with reduced transmission cost. ©2007 IEEE
